Since Alfresco 6 is finally GA, we are validating our software to test compatibility and performance with this new release.
Alfresco Share addons are fully compatible with Alfresco 6, as there were few modifications from Alfresco 5 in this artifact.
However, Alfresco Repository addons must be reviewed (and often re-compiled), as many libraries have been upgraded for Alfresco 6. You can review the main changes in ACS 6 Migration Guide.
We’ve started to update our Open Source public addons at GitHub to produce Alfresco 6 compatible releases:
- Alfresco Esign Cert 1.8.0
- Alfresco Simple OCR 2.3.1
- Alfresco Deleted Content Store Cleaner 1.1.0
- Alfresco ZIP Previewer 1.2.0
Feel free to open issues at GitHub on any of our addons not migrated yet and we’ll produce an Alfresco 6 compatible release!
